  • The Colonel Venue and Cigar Lounge 1328 Beck Avenue Cody, WY, 82414 United States (map)

Los Cheesies are an insanely wild high energy band of original fusion multicultural Rock and Rock, Ska, Reggae, Rap, Psychedelic, and Jam rock.Gringos uniting with Latinos, we bring a unique, comical, superfun, and upbeat style in both English and Spanish. After 9 years of performing and songwriting together, we have the most powerful, and tight, unique sound in Colorado. Our four part harmony vocals, shredding guitars and fabulous horn section will blow your mind. We also have a collection of 80 and 90 hits that we turn into our own Cheesie classics. We’s played all over the front range of Colorado and Wyoming and every year perform all over many highly acclaimed festivals in Saratoga Wyoming, in Colorado, Frozen Dead Guy Days, Larimar Beer Fest, Boulder Creek Fest, Top Taco in Denver, FOCO MX Fort Collins, and in Wyoming Festival in Saratoga, Cheyanne Downtown and Octoberfest. We have been supporting acts for several national acts in both states. We are received with such love and excitement from concert goers as we engage our audience and we have an amazing following. We released our first album in 2016 and just released our second in January of this year. We have amazing merch and “The Los Cheesies Experience is the Future of America.”

The Lonesome Heroes

After a 40 day tour of Australia and two years of hard touring on 2015’s Can’t Stand Still, The Lonesome Heroes slowed their highway roll down for the first time in a decade. “I began to feel like I was in a cover band of my own songs after so many years on the road,” says frontman Rich Russell. “Songwriter friend J Wagner invited me to cook and work at his annual retreat - Crooked Crow Songwriter Retreat - in the West Texas desert and I fell back into my songwriter self.” Russell brought the band back together in the fall of 2019 to track live at Jim Eno’s (Spoon) Public Hi-Fi studio and reunited with producer, guitar wizard, and longtime bandmate Gary Newcomb (Bill Callahan, The Tender Things, Li’l Cap’n Travis) for Rise & Fall, the band’s most inward looking and introspective album to date.
